POST RACIAL SOCIETY?

 POST RACIAL SOCIETY?
written by Bill Curtis/ 21st Century Productions

When Obama was President Obama, a major criticism of him was that he was a "divider". Another good one was this: folk thought that he would "bring us together", which frankly I thought was Not something that a black President could do.
A white President could do that. He'd need to really have frank talks with the whites in the country, particularly those in small towns and hamlets away from civilization in major population belts along the southern, eastern and western coasts and near the Great Lakes.

Forget the American origin myths. In 1776 the country was set up divided: 1) Rich, white male and free. 2) Wage relentless war against and exterminate the Indian Nations. Get free land, timber, minerals and other free stuff. Kill enough Indians, you get to keep your free land, timber, minerals and other free stuff. Perfect wealth formula for whites.
3) Welcome dirt poor whites
from Europe. Give them free land. Have them kill Indians. 4) Enslave free Africans to make whites rich. Pass laws against their descendants.

Please tell me! Why's the black guy given mission impossible to save whites?  8 years of Obama could not undo such a pathology of cruelty, conquest and legislative and economic apartheid. As my favorite Pentecostal-Apostolic-Holiness Auntie used to say-
"Lordy, Lordy!" -- to clear the air of something ridiculous that I would say.

And quite frankly, again, the flawed Founders set up the nation to divide people.

Just bizarre ideas. 3/5s of a man? How do people "rationalize" such a bizarre idea? Theft of Indian land, mineral and timber wealth. Fake sense of white superiority brainwashed into whites. Structural white privilege. 8 years of Obama could...not...fix...that. No way.

The American pathological thought process would need to be on the couch for about 20 years to unpack that pathology, and/or to come to terms with the
reparations required to repair the damage caused. Possibly see the evil of their ways? Perhaps have a come to Jesus moment! Or to enlightenment like Buddha under the Bodhi tree! Or beg themselves for forgiveness!

Without the couch-work, the US will stagger pathologically towards its 250th birthday in 2026. Or its 406th year since free Africans were enslaved at Virginia colony in 1620.

Now we have President Trump in 2017.

The US goes from the black guy to the really white white guy. And super rich.
And never elected to anything. AND his cabinet picks are of the same stripe. White white. Super rich. And "anti" whatever the policies of the US government had been for the past 40 years. It's as if Al Capone busted into Grandma's pantry and turned the pantry into a whisky drinking den for super rich gangsters.

And as for President Obama? His policies have been tarred and feathered and only waiting for the kerosene splash and the flick of a match from team Trump, then comes the rising animal roar of a mob transfixed by the flicker and the smell of heat and fire and their own smugness that, at any cost, even to spite our faces by cutting off our noses, we take our country back. Pray tell, who exactly is going to allow the 18th century barbarism back into the 21st?

That was really barbaric stuff in the 19th and 20th centuries. It's really barbaric stuff in the 21st century. But this time...there is You...

Can I get a shout out?

JIBBERSHIT
JIBBERSHIT
written by Bill Curtis / 2st Century Productions
Was listening to WKYS outta DC this afternoon driving home. In the car by myself...I was embarrassed at that 100% jibbershit on the radio. The rap made no sense. It was Jibbershit. DJ said, I think, the Jibbershitter group were the amigos. I realized so deeply the importance of self-affirming the best of yourself, our culture (if you are "aware") and the Good that you are as a divine being. I had to remember --
BLACK LIVES MATTER -- 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. To me. Not just when cops shoot. BLACK LIVES MATTER on all fronts. Specifically on our personal way of behaving, listening and talking to ourselves and to each other. Does BLACK LIVES MATTER to yourself? Then, let your friends know that that is the time you are on now. 24/7. I think I'll take that on first with me. More.

Self or Not To Discover More "Self"?
written by Bill Curtis/ 21st Century Productions

Everybody has friends. And if not friends, at least the best of
friends with our "self". The  "self" that we know. Or "think" we know.

Or "feel" that we know. You know, because most folk "think" with their "feelings". I know humans like that. Yes I do!

The self we are right now is the only "self" that you or I have. OR "know".  Until we master our current self. That's when we become another "self". That self has been waiting for us to come along and give it a big welcome hug. Maybe a real loving first kiss goodbye. (If you know how to kiss. LOL)

 Then, that
new self looks in the side mirror and sees that prior self verrrrrry slowly turning to vapor, then we say, wow, I've grown. What the heck was I doing? As much as my old self knew how to do.

The seeing REEALLY deserves a celebration. But likely not the kind of celebration that you did when you
were the "other self", you know, the one verrrrrrry slowly turning to vapor in your side view mirror.

Keep your eyes on the road. Coming at you: YOU.

1)    #274 Powerful Quotes

When we are children, and we have a problem with someone, we get angry. For whatever reason, that anger pushes the problem away; we get the result we want. It happens a second time – we react with anger – and now we know if we get angry we push the
problem away. Then we practice and practice, until we become masters of anger.

"TV, The Box, Dope, Brain Killer, Passive Mind Control Entertainment Entangling Octopus That I Let In My House. YIKES!"

I made a decision. Not to get a TV. Yet! But Trump fills the news so dangerously my thought was that TV would let me keep up with his blitz at the detail of "tweet".
Instead I decided to do something I said I would NeVer do. I
subscribed to a local paper. Online. Just to keep up with this mess.
I'm gonna need a TV, though, like within a year. So I can watch the war provoked by the Trump administration. Or to watch the impeachment proceeding. By the summer of 2018. By then or before.

Caligula comes to America?

Sort of...well actually a lot of, I'm a fan of history. I love African history -- Kemet, Ashanti, Zulu and Kongo Kingdom.

I'm intrigued by Northern Euro-western history
-- barbarian Britons, German and Frankish tribes.

But I am fascinated by Southern European Roman history and the technological influence that more advanced civilizations on the southern rim of the Mediterranean and below had on Roman "civilization". Rome fascinates me, also, because it is Rome that the flawed 13 founding colonies of the US mimicked. Flawed forever from inception with slavery enshrined in the flowery big-talk of its founding documents. (So sad, as Trump would say. Maybe Don will make a deal and send me a check.)

History. Rome. 13 Colonies. Trump. Caligula.

Let me check my calendar. January 20th. Feb. 4th. Two weeks and 1 day since Trump became President Trump. 15 days. But it feels like a long slow slough through 2 feet of snow in a blizzard.

National dialogue by "tweets". Cancelled meetings with Mexico. Arguments with Australia, of all places. New syllogisms - alternative facts - enter the Euro-American lexicon.

It all seems, or is, I mean, Hey! I wanna give the Executive branch the benefit of the doubt, but... the first 15 days seem a bigley bizarre. Even impolite. Lacks decorum. Presidential courtesy.

Caligula's historic reputation depicts him as erratic, impulsive. insecure, perverse and cruel. During the primary election campaign, I pegged Donald Trump
as the Caligula of the campaign. The man was a rocket-head, any and everything would blast out his mouth.

The first 15 days of his presidency violates the illusion of the Principate. Every good Republic needs Principate. Rome taught the flawed Foundling Fathers Principate's importance to keep the White dirt poor in an illusion of power. Enslaved people were wide awake.

Principate allows the Citizenry the "opportunity" to participate in government but not dominate. It's an illusion, a pleasant fiction much needed in a civilization that has abundance and a population that can read like we are doing right now. (Thanks!! Much appreciated. LOL)

In the US form of Republic, the Executive (President), the Legislative (US Senators and House of Representatives) and the Judicial branch (Judges) are the Principate. These are the 3 legs that hold up the illusion of the Republic. Upon that stool sits, figuratively, the Citizens of the Republic, which includes lil' ol' me and you. Butt over will'ya!! Give me some room please

According to Wikipedia, "The Principate is characterised by the reign of a single emperor (princeps) and an effort on the part of the early emperors, at least, to preserve the illusion of the formal continuance, in some aspects, of the Roman Republic."

To understand the US, an understanding of Roman rule methodology is revealing. Otherwise, what you are seeing, you might think is real. President Trump's first 15 days in office locates him in a urine contest with the Judicial branch, the Legislative branch and with the citizenry of the Republic. My goodness!!! And it's only 15 days!!! Has Caligula come to America?  --Bill Curtis / 21st Century Productions
